Amazing story and a video of it on YouTube. Player is holding J10 diamonds in 1-2NL. Flop is K9K with K9 of diamonds. Player calls. Turn is Q of diamonds. Player attempts to call $11 dollar bet and site doesn't respond. He is reconnected on the river out of the hand because he didn't call turn. Cards are revealed. One player has KK another player is holding 99. There is no bad beat because the straight flush was locked out. BetOnline rejected claim saying their server was fine and no one else in the hand was disconnected or unable to bet. Rules specifically state that players must accept they can be disconnected by events out of their control. The player with J10 lost out on 52,000. The player with pocket KK lost out on $69,000 and other players at the table lost out of $14,000. The bad beat is still going and is now over $400,000. Just totally brutal. Should BetOnline pay it. Technically no. You know going in that crazy things like this happen. Even though payment of this was rejected it is still being appealed.

He got paid. Great! It was so brutal but there was a lot of pressure on BetOnline from different forums around the world. Your reputation is worth more than the money it took to settle this.
